VAS
Offered by a mobile network or its resellers, a value-added service (VAS) generates additional revenue by offering increased benefits to subscribers. Total VAS revenue is calculated from the total of Rich Messages, SMS, data-over-cellular and information-service revenue. All other VAS revenue is considered transparent and is included with call charges or subscription revenue.
